In a small Montana town, Willie & Jessica grew up just miles apart-living entirely different versions of the same place. Different upbringings, different perspectives, different paths. For a long time, their worlds never quite overlapped.
Until they did, right on the banks of the Yellowstone River.
What followed was a love story that stretched far beyond Montana-traveling through cities, cultures, and experiences that refined their palate and shaped their eye. Along the way, they developed a deep appreciation for the details: a perfectly balanced cocktail, a thoughtfully plated dish, the power of a well-designed event.
When it came time to celebrate their engagement, they wanted to bring that same level of experience back home-for the people who wouldn’t be making the journey abroad for the wedding.
In 2021, finding true craft cocktail service in rural Montana meant lowering the bar-or building one themselves. So they built the copper king bar. They sought out talent, gathered a team, and created something that hadn’t existed there before: an elevated bar experience, set along the banks of the river they met on.
That night changed everything.
What was meant to be a single celebration became the spark behind Barflys-a mobile bartending experience rooted in intention, design, and an uncompromising standard of quality. That same energy would go on to create the Crazy Mountain Carnival, now one of Montana’s most distinctive independent music festivals.
Barflys is the intersection of contrast-refined yet Montanan, elevated yet grounded. Built from two different stories, meeting in the same place, and choosing to create something more.
Now, that experience is yours.
